Join a leading automotive retailer in the South and South-West of England. We are seeking an energetic and focused Sales Executive to join our team in Plymouth. This role is ideal for someone with a strong customer service background and a desire to excel in sales. Experience in the automotive industry is advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Identify and develop prospects, working with individual customers to understand their needs and guide them towards the most appropriate product.
*Demonstrate vehicle features and benefits, adapting to the customer’s buying strategy and encouraging test drives.
*Negotiate price, payment methods, and finance arrangements within company guidelines.
*Participate in training and development opportunities.
*Liaise with Sales Administration to ensure product availability aligns with customer expectations, place orders, update customer records, and schedule any additional services required before delivery.
*Maintain customer relationships through follow-up calls and future business opportunities.
*Plan and organise daily selling activities, such as making sales calls to obtain new business.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Strong planning and organisational skills.
*Quick assimilation of information and ability to provide considered responses.
*Strong work ethic and adaptability to change.
*Attention to detail with good quality of work.
*Ability to work to tight deadlines.
*Positive reaction to organisational and market changes.
*Proficiency in PC, Microsoft Office, and web applications.
