We are seeking an experienced and ambitious education leader to join a well-established Further Education provider in the East of England as Head of Built Environment.
This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a diverse curriculum area covering Built Environment programmes from Level 3 through to Higher Technical Qualifications, Apprenticeships and Degree-level provision. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving curriculum excellence, employer engagement, student achievement and staff development.
Key Responsibilities
*Lead the strategic and operational delivery of Built Environment programmes
*Manage, develop and inspire teaching and support staff
*Drive student achievement, retention and progression
*Develop strong employer and industry partnerships
*Support Apprenticeship, T Level, HTQ and Degree provision
*Monitor curriculum performance and quality improvement plans
*Contribute to curriculum planning and business growth initiatives
Essential Requirements
*Relevant degree or professional qualification
*Teaching qualification (Level 5 or equivalent)
*Experience managing curriculum provision within education
*Strong leadership and people management skills
*Experience of student performance management and quality improvement
*Understanding of current Built Environment industry developments
*Strong stakeholder and employer engagement skills
