Job Description:
Full job descriptionWe’re looking for a Data Analyst to join our Data & Analytics team on a 12-month fixed-term contract covering maternity leave.
Following the acquisition of Brookson by People2.0, the scope and impact of the Data & Analytics team has continued to grow. This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative team at a time when data is playing an increasingly important role in supporting business decisions and driving improvements across the organisation.
What will you be doing?

You’ll be naturally curious, confident challenging and validating the information in front of you, and capable of translating business problems into data-driven solutions. You’ll enjoy working with unfamiliar datasets, identifying trends, and presenting information in a way that supports informed decision-making.
While we’ll provide the business context and support you in understanding our organisation, we’re looking for someone who can bring strong analytical thinking, technical capability, and a desire to make an impact from day one.
What experience, skills and experience are we looking for?
Essential knowledge:
*Practical commercial experience working as a Data Analyst, BI Analyst, Reporting Analyst or similar analytical role.

*Practical experience developing data workflows using Alteryx or a closely comparable data preparation/automation platform.
*Practical experience developing reporting and analytical solutions using Power BI.
*Experience working with data from multiple systems or sources.
*Understanding of data transformation and data-quality principles.
*Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
*Ability to translate business requirements into technical or analytical solutions.
*Good attention to detail and an ability to identify anomalies or inconsistencies within data.
*Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
*Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a wider Data & Analytics team.
Desirable knowledge:
*DAX and Power BI data modelling
*Advanced SQL
*ETL/ELT processes
*Data warehouse or DataMart environments
*Workflow or process automation
*Data-quality reporting
*Working with ERP, finance, payroll, HR or operational systems
*Requirements gathering and stakeholder workshops
*Git or other source-control processes
*Working within an Azure data environment
In Return for joining us as a Data Analyst
*23 days annual leave, plus bank holidays
*Your birthday off
*2 Press Pause Days (An opportunity to step back, breathe, and focus on your wellness — whatever that may look like)
*Hybrid working
*5% company pension contribution after 3 months
*Access to free Financial Advice including Mortgages, and Savings
*Cyle2Work scheme
