An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Residential Property Lawyer to join a highly regarded Legal 500 law firm within its award-winning Real Estate team in Brighton.
This is a rare opportunity to specialise in the growing retirement living sector, working alongside an experienced Partner and established team on a high-quality caseload of residential property transactions. The Role
You will become part of a thriving Real Estate team that advises clients across a broad range of residential property matters, with a particular focus on retirement living transactions.
Your responsibilities will include:
*Managing your own residential conveyancing caseload under supervision
*Handling freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
*Advising clients on retirement living transactions
*Conducting title investigations and reviewing searches
*Drafting and reviewing contracts and transfer documentation
*Liaising with clients, agents, lenders and third parties
*Ensuring compliance with CQS, AML and risk management procedures
*Maintaining exceptional levels of client care
*Assisting with business development and marketing initiatives
*Supporting the wider Residential Property and Real Estate teams
About You

You will ideally have:
*Previous residential conveyancing experience
*Strong knowledge of residential property law, including landlord and tenant matters
*The ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
*Excellent client-care and communication skills
*Strong drafting and organisational abilities
*A collaborative approach and desire to work as part of a successful team
*Experience within the retirement living sector would be advantageous but is not essential, as training will be provided
