A local authority in Reading is seeking an experienced Grounds Person to join their busy Highways Grass Team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with grounds maintenance experience looking for a long-term temporary role with an immediate start.
Key Responsibilities
*Grass cutting and grounds maintenance across highways and public areas
*Operating a range of grounds maintenance equipment including:
*Brush cutters
*Ride-on and pedestrian mowers
*Hedge cutters

*Maintaining high standards of appearance across public spaces
*Carrying out routine equipment checks and ensuring safe operation
*Working as part of a team to deliver scheduled maintenance programmes
Essential Requirements
Previous grounds maintenance experience

Experience operating brush cutters, mowers and hedge cutters

Full UK or European Driving Licence including Category C1 + E

Reliable, hardworking and safety-conscious approach

Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
