I’m partnering with a friendly and well-established accountancy practice with a close-knit, sociable team. Due to the current Payroll Manager relocating they are recruiting a replacement.
The Role
You will provide a comprehensive payroll and pensions service, managing your own portfolio of clients and ensuring all payroll processes are completed accurately and on time.
Key responsibilities include:
*Processing end-to-end payroll for a portfolio of clients
*Completing personal Tax returns as part of the role.
*Completing month-end and year-end payroll procedures
*Administering statutory payments including SSP and SMP
*RTI submissions and payroll compliance reporting
*Managing pension administration and auto-enrolment activities
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
*Previous payroll experience within a payroll bureau or accountancy practice environment
*Alternatively, substantial payroll experience gained within a high-volume payroll setting
*Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, statutory payments and pensions administration
*Experience using a variety of payroll software packages
