A well-established Yorkshire law firm is looking to add an experienced Family Solicitor to its team, with a particular focus on Private Children and Domestic Abuse work.
This is a great opportunity for a Family Solicitor who enjoys being client focused, getting involved in advocacy and handling cases where no two days are the same.
You will be dealing with a varied caseload, including:
• Private law children matters
• Domestic abuse cases
• Advising and supporting clients through difficult and often urgent situations
• Representing clients at court hearings and other proceedings
• Advocacy, particularly in urgent and complex matters
• Working closely with other professionals and external organisations
• Building and maintaining relationships with local domestic abuse organisations
What they are looking for:
• A Family Solicitor or Legal Executive with 2 years PQE or more
• Strong experience in private children and domestic abuse work
• Confident advocacy experience, particularly in urgent cases
• Someone who can stay calm, think on their feet and make quick decisions when needed
• Good connections with local domestic abuse organisations
• A genuine commitment to supporting clients through challenging circumstances
You will be joining a well-established Yorkshire firm with a supportive team and the opportunity to take on a varied and rewarding caseload.
