8:30am – 5:00pm
A growing and well-established construction business is seeking an organised Design Office Administrator to support its busy planning and production team.
You’ll play a key role in producing detailing drawings and managing multiple projects from approval layouts to releasing schedules for manufacture.
Key responsibilities:
*Produce accurate technical drawings and detailed designs using AutoCAD and the company’s design software.
*Develop strong product knowledge and ensure designs meet customer and manufacturing requirements.
*Prepare approval layouts, project drawings and manufacturing schedules for multiple projects.
*Manage projects from receipt of order through to manufacture and delivery to site.
*Work closely with mentors, colleagues and other departments to ensure projects are completed accurately and on time.
*Support wider design-office activities, including pricing, quotations, workload planning and manufacturing/casting decisions.
What we’re looking for:
*Confident and organised individual with strong attention to detail
*Excellent communication and time management skills
*Professional approach with strong problem-solving skills
*Some AutoCAD experience would be desirable (but we’re totally open to someone looking to get into the industry!)
*Driving licence and access to a vehicle would be advantageous due to location
