Salary: £29,814, rising to £30,314 after successful completion of a 3-month probation
Hours: 40 hours per week | Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm
Contract: Permanent, full-time

Are you a practical, hands-on Maintenance Operative who enjoys solving problems and taking pride in a job well done?

We are recruiting on behalf of a successful property and accommodation business for an experienced Property Maintenance Operative to support several locations across Manchester.

The ideal candidate will be able to work on their own, take pride in their work, enjoy problem-solving and be confident dealing with a wide range of maintenance tasks.

Basic plumbing experience is essential, and you’ll need to be flexible and adaptable as the role will vary depending on the maintenance requests received.

General duties include:
*Carrying out general maintenance and light repairs across different properties.
*Completing basic plumbing repairs and maintenance.
*Responding promptly to maintenance requests and finding practical solutions.
*Completing work safely and maintaining properties to a high standard.
*Providing a friendly, professional service while working independently and supporting the wider team.
What we’re looking for:
*Previous hands-on experience in a property maintenance / handyman / handyperson role.
*Basic plumbing experience is essential.
*A practical, can-do approach with strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
*A conscientious approach and a good understanding of health and safety.
*The flexibility and physical fitness to manage a varied workload involving lifting and manual tasks.
A full, clean UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle would be advantageous, as travel between properties may be required.

A full DBS check will be required for the successful candidate.
