Working closely with the Head of HR, you will support the delivery of an efficient and professional HR service, ensuring employee records, documentation, and HR processes are managed accurately and within agreed timescales. As your knowledge, confidence, and capability develop, you will gradually take on greater responsibility for providing first-line advice to managers and supporting employee relations matters.

*Assist the Head of HR with employee relations casework, developing towards greater ownership of straightforward cases.
*Support managers with absence management and return-to-work processes.
*Coordinate recruitment and onboarding activities, helping to deliver a positive and organised new starter experience.
*Produce routine HR reports and management information.
*Prepare and provide accurate employee and payroll information to the external payroll provider, ensuring all changes are communicated within required timescales.
*Respond to employee and manager queries, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and processes.
*Support the review and continuous improvement of HR policies, procedures, templates, and ways of working.
*Develop knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practice with a view to progressing into an HR Advisor role.
