This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant to take on a role covering management accounts, financial reporting, business partnering, statutory accounting and process improvement, with strong exposure to senior stakeholders.

Michael Page Finance is partnering with one of our key clients, a successful and growing professional services business, to recruit a Management Accountant into its high-performing finance team.
Description
*Prepare full monthly management accounts and supporting reporting.
*Own balance sheet management, including reconciliations and the fixed asset register.
*Business partner with senior management, providing financial analysis and insight.
*Present financial information clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
*Support statutory accounts, group reporting and tax submissions.
*Act as a key contact for external auditors during the year-end process.
*Support annual budgeting, forecasting and re-forecasting.
*Support the implementation of new finance systems.
*Review and improve finance processes, with a focus on automation and efficiency.
*Lead, coach and develop members of the finance team.
Profile
*ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification with relevant post-qualified experience.
*Strong experience preparing full monthly management accounts.
*Previous exposure to statutory accounting, tax and audit.
*Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
*Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
*The confidence to challenge information and identify opportunities for improvement.
*A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to take ownership.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
