Full job description

We are looking for an experienced Management Accountant on a temporary to permanent basis to join a busy finance team and provide immediate support during an exciting period of change.
This is a hands on role where you will work closely with the Financial Controller, taking responsibility for key elements of the day-to-day finance function while also supporting management reporting, forecasting and year-end activities.
You will need to be someone who can hit the ground running, work independently and confidently take ownership from day one.
Main Duties:
*Preparing monthly management accounts and reporting packs
*Supporting the consolidation of multiple entities
*Managing and monitoring daily cash flow
*Preparing forecasts and supporting budget reviews
*Analysing financial performance and investigating variances
*Providing meaningful financial analysis and commentary to management
*Supporting P&L, balance sheet and cash flow reporting
*Reviewing monthly performance with budget holders
*Assisting with year-end accounts and external audit
*Supporting the finance team through a finance systems transition
*Identifying opportunities to improve processes and reporting
*Providing ad hoc financial analysis and modelling as required
