*Location: Reading, RG2
*Job Type: Temporary (3-month contract, subject to change)
*Working Hours: Full-time, 5 days a week
Join our Housing Property Services Team as a Works Planner/Scheduler/Customer Service Officer. This office-based role is crucial in delivering efficient, high-quality maintenance and repairs services to our council housing stock. You will be instrumental in ensuring our tenants and leaseholders receive a reliable and responsive service.
Day-to-day of the role:*Manage work orders and job tickets from initiation to closure — raising, allocating, and closing jobs using our job management system.
*Communicate effectively with tenants, contractors, and colleagues to ensure a seamless and customer-focused service.
*Maintain accurate records and databases, handling all information with confidentiality and care.
*Produce and proofread documents, reports, and meeting minutes to a high standard.
*Support the collection and analysis of performance data and customer satisfaction feedback to enhance service delivery.
Required Skills & Qualifications:*Strong administration skills and experience in a similar role.
*Knowledge of housing repairs processes and diary management systems.
*Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
*Excellent communication and customer service skills.
*Proficiency in managing databases and producing detailed reports.
