A collaborative North London firm is seeking a reliable, detail-driven Payroll Administrator to join their friendly team on a part-time basis (3 days per week). This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working across a variety of client payrolls and thrives in a supportive, team-oriented environment.
You’ll play a key role in delivering full start-to-finish payroll services for a diverse client portfolio, working closely with colleagues to ensure every payroll is accurate, compliant, and delivered on time. Key Responsibilities
*Start-to-finish payroll processing - Manage weekly, monthly, and fortnightly payrolls across a range of clients.
*Data validation - Collate, check, and input payroll information with precision.
*Client communication - handle payroll queries professionally and promptly.
*Compliance checks - Ensure all statutory obligations (HMRC, pensions, SSP, SMP, etc.) are met.
*Team collaboration - Work closely with colleagues to maintain smooth, accurate payroll cycles.
*Reporting & documentation - Produce payslips, reports, and payroll summaries for clients.
*Pension administration - Manage auto-enrolment tasks and monthly submissions.
Experience & Skills
*Payroll experience - ideally using the Sage software
*Strong understanding of UK payroll legislation and statutory payments.
*Confident working with multiple deadlines and varied client needs.
*A collaborative, supportive approach - someone who enjoys being part of a close-knit team.
*Excellent accuracy, organisation, and communication skills.
