We are seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our warehouse in Basingstoke. This role is crucial for ensuring that customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time. The Warehouse Supervisor will provide hands-on leadership to the warehouse team and collaborate closely with Production and fulfilment functions to maintain a safe and efficient environment.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Supervise warehouse operations including goods-in, put-away, picking, packing, and dispatch.
*Allocate tasks and resources to meet daily and weekly order volumes and service level agreements (SLAs).
*Lead, motivate, and support the warehouse team, addressing performance and conduct issues in line with company procedures.
*Conduct shift briefings and handovers, ensuring clear communication of priorities and updates.
*Oversee goods-in checks, ensuring deliveries are received, checked, and put away correctly.
*Coordinate outbound transport and courier collections to ensure dispatch deadlines are met.
*Maintain accurate stock levels and locations using warehouse management systems.
*Ensure the warehouse operates in line with health & safety policies and procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Previous experience in a warehouse supervisory role.
*Good understanding of goods-in, pick/pack, and dispatch processes.
*Strong leadership and people management skills.
*Confident using Microsoft Office and comfortable learning new systems.
*FLT/MHE licence is desirable but not essential.
*Excellent communication skills, able to liaise confidently with couriers, carriers, and other departments.
