Job Description:
Full job descriptionREED/LTA are currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming rural primary school near Preston on a full-time basis, starting as soon as possible.
This rewarding role involves providing 1:1 support to a Year 6 pupil with an ASD diagnosis. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the child’s learning, communication, and emotional development throughout the school day. The pupil also requires daily Speech and Language support, so experience working alongside Speech and Language programmes would be advantageous.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Experience working within Key Stage 2
Previous experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), particularly ASD
A patient, nurturing, and adaptable approach
Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships
Experience delivering or supporting Speech and Language interventions (preferred)
