Job Description:
Full job descriptionWe are looking for an experienced Interim Finance Business Partner to join a well-established organisation on a key strategic project.
This is a hands on role focused on financial modelling, business process improvement and supporting senior stakeholders with strategic decision making. You will review the existing financial model, challenge assumptions, develop alternative scenarios and help shape improvements to the wider business model.
Key responsibilities*Review and strengthen the existing financial model, including underlying assumptions and methodology
*Develop alternative funding and financial scenarios using sensitivity analysis
*Review and map end-to-end business processes and identify inefficiencies, risks and gaps
*Assess data flows between operational processes, systems, financial modelling and reporting
*Review the control environment and identify opportunities to strengthen processes and governance
*Work closely with senior operational and finance stakeholders to develop practical recommendations
*Provide clear financial insight to support strategic decision-making
*Present findings and recommendations to senior management and Board-level stakeholders
*Support the implementation of agreed changes, including process improvements and change management
*Improve the usability, clarity and robustness of financial models and reporting
About youWe are looking for someone with:
*Strong experience in financial modelling, FP&A or strategic finance
*Proven business partnering experience
*Experience developing scenarios and undertaking sensitivity analysis
*Strong understanding of business processes, controls and risk management
*Experience mapping and improving end-to-end processes
*Ability to understand complex data flows and identify weaknesses or inefficiencies
*Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
*Experience providing recommendations to senior stakeholders
*Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain financial information to non-finance audiences
*Ability to work independently and make an immediate impact in an interim environment
