Full job descriptionAbout the Role
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Bodyshop Estimator to join our busy and successful accident repair centre. This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused individual who has a strong understanding of vehicle repair methods, estimating systems, and insurance processes.
As a Bodyshop Estimator, you will play a key role in managing repair costs, liaising with customers and insurers, and ensuring repairs are accurately assessed and costed.
Key Responsibilities
*Inspect damaged vehicles and prepare accurate repair estimates.
*Liaise with customers, insurers, engineers, and work providers.
*Identify repair methods and required parts.
*Monitor repair progress and manage estimate supplements where required.
*Ensure all estimates meet manufacturer and insurance company standards.
*Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the repair process.
*Maintain accurate records using estimating and management systems.
*Support workshop efficiency and productivity targets.
What We’re Looking For
Essential
*Previous experience as a Bodyshop Estimator, Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA), or similar role.
*Knowledge of vehicle repair methods and accident damage assessment.
*Experience using estimating platforms such as Audatex or GT Motive
*Strong communication and customer service skills.
*Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
*Full UK Driving Licence.
Desirable
*ATA VDA accreditation.
*Experience within an insurance-approved accident repair centre.
*Knowledge of EV and hybrid vehicle repair processes.
