Full job descriptionAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a hands-on Bookkeeper / Management Accountant to join an established and forward-thinking professional practice in NW London.
Working closely with the Financial Controller, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day accounts function while also supporting the preparation of management accounts and wider financial reporting.
The Role:
*Manage day-to-day bookkeeping, sales and purchase ledgers.
*Bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
*Prepare monthly and quarterly management accounts.
*Credit control and debt management.
*Assist with VAT, payroll and pension requirements.
*Support budgeting, cash flow and forecasting.
*Assist with month-end and year-end reporting.
*Help improve processes through technology, automation and AI.
*Provide general support to the Financial Controller and assist with ad hoc projects.
About You:
*Previous experience in a Bookkeeper, Management Accountant or similar role.
*AAT qualified, part-qualified ACCA/CIMA or QBE.
*Strong Excel skills and experience with Xero, Sage or similar.
*Good understanding of bookkeeping and management accounts.
*Tech-savvy with an interest in AI and automation.
*Professional services experience desirable.
*Organised, hands-on and proactive with excellent attention to detail.
