Full job descriptionJob Purpose:
*This niche West End based accountancy firm based in a prime location in Central London is looking for a new member of staff to join their busy and growing accountancy and business services department.
*The aim is to provide first class accountancy services to a wide range of clients, many from the Film, TV, Creative, Media and Entertainment sectors.
*Most clients will be small to medium in size but will include some groups and international companies.
*The firm offers both ACA and ACCA study support.

Responsibilities:
*Your role will be varied and include the preparation of both FRS 102 and 105 statutory accounts from start to finish, drafting corporation tax returns, VAT returns and bookkeeping assignments.
*You will liaise directly with clients and often work in small teams to complete assignments.
*The firm uses Xero software on almost all work assignments.
*Training and support will be provided where necessary.


Requirements:
*You will need at least 2 years experience in a good quality accountancy firm.
*Experience of preparing statutory accounts, basic corporation tax returns, VAT returns and bookkeeping assignments is required.
*You must have started your professional exams – either the ACA or ACCA.
*Being AAT qualified is desired but not essential.
*Experience of Xero software package.
*A desire to learn, progress and do well in a niche accountancy firm based in Zone 1 Central London.
