Full job description3-Month Fixed-Term Contract | Immediate StartAn exciting opportunity to join a leading global media and entertainment organisation, based in the heart of London’s West End!
Our client is keen to appoint a qualified lawyer to provide practical, commercially focused legal advice across a range of revenue-generating activities. The role will involve supporting commercial teams to deliver deals, resolve legal issues, advise on regulatory compliance and build effective long-term relationships with stakeholders across the business.
Responsibilities*Advise on legal matters relating to the sale of advertising and other commercial revenue-generating activities.

*Support the development and maintenance of standard legal documentation and work with commercial colleagues to ensure agreed processes are followed.

*Draft clear and consistent templates, standard terms and conditions for media, custom and branded initiatives and talent arrangements.

*Negotiate standard commercial terms with advertising agencies and other counterparties.

*Provide training and practical legal guidance on advertising regulations and relevant industry guidance, including requirements applicable to social media influencers.

*Interpret and advise on internal advertising policies and their application to specific campaigns and commercial initiatives.

*Liaise and coordinate with colleagues involved in the production and delivery of branded content, campaigns and events, developing effective workflows to maximise communication, alignment and efficiency.

*Work closely with data privacy specialists on matters relating to the use of personal and commercial data.

*Collaborate with lawyers across the wider legal function to provide day-to-day corporate advice to Finance teams.

*Support corporate governance and company secretarial activities.

*Support the delivery and management of project-based real estate legal matters.

*Manage external legal advisers where appropriate and necessary.

*Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory developments, particularly consumer law and regulations relating to subscription services.

About You*Legally qualified in England & Wales with 2+ years post-qualification experience.

*Strong experience in commercial contracts, gained either in private practice or in-house, ideally within a media, technology, advertising, consumer or similarly fast-moving commercial environment.

*Additional experience in intellectual property law would be advantageous.

*Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

*Able to provide legal advice in a pragmatic, solutions-focused and commercially minded way.

*Confident, proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to develop strong relationships with stakeholders across the business.

*Positive, collaborative and adaptable, with a willingness to work flexibly as part of a developing legal team and within a sector undergoing significant change.
