About the Job
This is a varied, hands-on Finance Assistant position providing support across day-to-day finance operations. You will help maintain accurate financial records, manage transactional finance activities and support the team in meeting month-end deadlines.
Duties will include:
* Raising customer invoices and maintaining customer accounts
* Supporting credit control activities and issuing customer statements
* Responding to customer queries and assisting with onboarding processes
* Processing supplier invoices and company credit card transactions
* Setting up supplier accounts and dealing with supplier queries
* Preparing and issuing supplier remittance information
* Reviewing and checking employee expense claims
* Completing day-to-day bookkeeping and maintaining accurate records within QuickBooks
* Monitoring the Finance inbox and ensuring queries are handled or escalated appropriately
* Supporting the wider Finance team with month-end activities and reporting deadlines
About the Successful Applicant
You will have at least three years’ experience in a similar finance role within a small or medium-sized organisation, with bookkeeping experience and confidence using financial systems. Experience with QuickBooks, Excel and SAP Concur would be beneficial. You will be organised and numerate, with excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills and the ability to prioritise effectively when working to deadlines.
