Our client is seeking an experienced Warehouse Logistics Coordinator to support the day-to-day requirements of their customers, providing an efficient, accurate and customer-focused warehouse and logistics service. The role will involve a range of warehouse duties, stock management, order fulfilment and customer support activities across two local warehouse sites. You will:
*Carry out daily warehouse activities for Contract Logistics customers, including receiving goods, processing orders, picking, packing and preparing items for dispatch
*Work across two warehouse locations as required to support operational demands
*Follow instructions provided by the Warehouse Manager and customers through verbal communication, email and other approved channels
*Manage returned laptops, including wiping, cleaning and preparing equipment before completing the goods receipt and put-away process
*Provide customers with daily updates by accurately recording completed tasks and relevant information on customer systems in line with agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
*Support operational KPIs by ensuring orders, incoming goods and dispatches are processed accurately and within required timescales
*Complete stock movements, inventory adjustments and stock checks accurately using the Warehouse Management System, CargoWise
*Communicate proactively with customers regarding returns, stock requirements and any operational queries or issues
*Identify potential operational problems or delays and escalate these to management when necessary
*Work closely with couriers, the Transport Team and customers to meet collection and delivery deadlines
*Arrange shipments through the internal Transport Team or approved third-party transport providers according to customer requirements.
*Collaborate with colleagues and management to ensure the smooth running of warehouse operations, including customer orders, collections and driver arrivals
*Maintain high standards of housekeeping and ensure health & safety, security and operational procedures are followed throughout the warehouse
The ideal candidate will:
*Have strong customer service and communication skills
*Be confident communicating professionally with customers, suppliers, agents and colleagues
*Have good computer skills, including experience using Microsoft Office applications
*Have experience with warehouse or logistics management systems such as CargoWise would be advantageous
*Be able to work accurately and efficiently within a busy, fast-paced warehouse environment
*Be flexible and adaptable, with the ability to respond to changing workloads and operational priorities
*Have a proactive and solutions-focused approach to work
*Be well organised with the ability to manage workload effectively
*Be committed to maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
*Be reliable, diligent and have good attention to detail
*Be comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively within a team
Working hours are Monday to Friday 7am to 4pm.
