Full job descriptionElevation Recruitment Group are recruiting for a Health & Safety Advisor to join a growing operational team, supporting Health & Safety across multiple sites and field-based teams.
This is a varied role where you’ll work closely with Production, Engineering and Maintenance, helping to identify risks, improve standards and build a positive Safety-First culture.
The Role*Carry out site inspections, audits and risk assessments
*Lead/support accident and near-miss investigations
*Identify risks and implement corrective actions
*Support machinery safety, DSEAR and COSHH requirements
*Monitor H&S KPIs and identify areas for improvement
*Deliver H&S training, inductions and awareness activities
*Support contractor safety and emergency response
*Help maintain ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 compliance
*Work closely with teams across multiple sites to improve H&S standards
About YouYou’ll ideally have:
*Previous H&S experience within manufacturing, industrial or operational environments
*NEBOSH, IOSH or equivalent qualification/experience
*Experience with risk assessments, audits and incident investigations
*Good knowledge of H&S legislation and machinery safety
*Understanding of DSEAR and COSHH
*Ideally, experience with ISO 45001 / ISO 14001
*Strong communication skills and the confidence to challenge and influence
*A practical, proactive approach to Health & Safety
*Willingness to travel between sites
