We’re recruiting for an experienced Property Manager to join an established and highly regarded residential lettings business.
This is an excellent opportunity for a property professional with a strong customer service and problem-solving approach, looking to join a successful business offering comprehensive training, professional development and predominantly home-based working following successful completion of probation.
The Role
As a Property Manager, you will:
*Manage maintenance queries from private tenants by telephone and email
*Liaise with landlords, providing regular updates on maintenance works and resolutions
*Instruct approved contractors and arrange access for quotations, inspections and repairs
*Coordinate property compliance and safety checks
*Monitor and follow up compliance documentation, including gas safety certificates, electrical inspections and EPCs
*Ensure smoke and carbon monoxide alarm requirements are met
*Maintain accurate records of enquiries, communications, compliance checks and actions taken
*Proactively progress maintenance issues and ensure works are dealt with efficiently
*Prioritise urgent maintenance and compliance matters within a busy workload
*Maintain strong communication with local branches and internal teams
*Deliver a professional and high level of service to landlords and tenants
Property Manager requirements:
*Proven experience within residential lettings or property management is essential
*Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, can-do approach
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*Confident, professional and customer-focused manner
*Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and manage a busy workload
*Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping skills
*IT proficient, including experience using Microsoft Office
*Ability to build effective relationships with landlords, tenants, contractors and colleagues
*A team-focused approach with the ability to work independently
