The Company
This is a corporate travel and events agency operating as part of a global, tech-first platform that is actively building out its events delivery capability. The events arm is treated as a business in its own right and generates serious commercial weight. The client base spans high street retail, government, law, finance and tech, and events range from half-day meetings to international conferences for thousands. The Role
The Event Manager is a permanent role sitting within a specialist corporate events team, responsible for end-to-end delivery across a diverse portfolio of clients and event types, with a mix of full project management and venue sourcing work.
- End-to-end management of corporate events from brief through to on-site delivery
- Client-facing project management across multiple accounts and sectors
- Venue sourcing and supplier negotiation for a range of event formats
- Delegate registration and event logistics coordination
- Budget management and reporting for individual events
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships throughout each project
The Candidate
The right Event Manager will have hands-on event delivery and project management experience, ideally gained in a corporate or agency environment, with a proven track record of managing client relationships and delivering events from initial brief to completion. A background in venue sourcing or event coordination, and comfort working across a varied mix of corporate, tech or high-volume ad hoc clients, is what this team needs.
Experience with global or international event delivery, delegate registration platforms or event tech would be beneficial but is not essential. A background in corporate incentive or conference delivery, or any familiarity with a travel management company environment, would also be a welcome addition. Above all, this team values personality and culture fit as much as experience, so a collaborative, adaptable approach will go a long way.
