Are you an experienced Manager looking for your next opportunity?P4 Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a national health and social care organisation with the recruitment of an experienced Registered Manager to lead a large and established Extra Care service in Liverpool.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced social care leader who is passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred support and wants to make a genuine difference to the lives of older adults.
About the ServiceThe service supports almost 100 older adults to live as independently as possible within their own apartments in a purpose-built Extra Care complex.
The successful Registered Manager will take overall responsibility for the day-to-day management, quality, compliance and performance of the service, ensuring people receive safe, dignified and person-centred care.
You will lead a substantial staff team, with approximately 10–12 staff working during the day and 2 staff at night, providing support around the clock.
The role will also involve supporting individuals who may present with behaviours requiring intensive support planning, risk management and positive behavioural approaches.
Key Responsibilities*Take overall responsibility for the effective management of the service.
*Ensure the service meets all relevant CQC regulatory requirements and standards.
*Lead, motivate and develop a large team of care and support professionals.
*Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health and safety and quality assurance.
*Ensure person-centred care and support plans are consistently delivered.
*Oversee risk assessments, incident management and safeguarding procedures.
*Monitor service performance and implement improvements where required.
*Work collaboratively with families, professionals, commissioners and external agencies.
*Promote independence, choice, dignity and respect for everyone supported.
*Create a positive culture where staff are supported, developed and encouraged to achieve their potential.
About YouWe are looking for an experienced and confident social care manager who can demonstrate:
*Previous experience as a CQC Registered Manager or significant senior management experience within adult social care.
*Strong knowledge and understanding of CQC regulations and compliance.
*Experience managing a large staff team and complex service.
*Experience supporting people with behaviours that require detailed support and risk management.
*A strong understanding of safeguarding and person-centred care.
*Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
*The ability to confidently manage performance, standards and service improvements.
*Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care, or equivalent — either already achieved or currently working towards it.
*Good IT skills and confidence using basic computer systems.
*A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
