This is a newly created position due to increasing levels of new business being secured by the Sales team. As the company continues to grow and deliver a greater volume of projects, they are expanding their Project Delivery function to maintain the exceptional levels of service and reputation they are known for.
This is a key senior leadership position, reporting to the Operations Director and taking responsibility for the Project Management function. You will lead and develop the team while directly managing a number of significant projects.
A feature of the role is regular UK travel during peak timings, typically once per fortnight, visiting key projects, customers and stakeholders in locations including London, Manchester and Edinburgh.

In this position, you will take responsibility for:
*Project Leadership – leading and developing the Project Management team
*Project Delivery – ensuring projects are delivered On Time In Full (OTIF)
*Key Projects – directly managing 5–10 significant and complex projects
*Project Scheduling – overseeing delivery timelines and coordinating with Procurement and customers
*Commercial Performance – supporting project GP and margin management
*Team Management – mentoring, performance management and development
*Sales to Operations Handover – ensuring projects transition smoothly into delivery
*Cross-Department Coordination – working with Manufacturing, Drafting, Compliance, Buying and Operations
*Customer Management – maintaining exceptional communication and service levels
*Problem Solving – acting as an escalation point for complex technical and delivery challenges
*Process Improvement – identifying inefficiencies and improving systems and processes
