Veritas Education is delighted to be working in partnership with a secondary school in Dewsbury to recruit an enthusiastic and committed Maths Teacher. This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive and forward-thinking department dedicated to raising achievement and fostering a love of mathematics among students.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach Key Stage 5 for suitably experienced applicants.
The RoleAs a Maths Teacher, you will:
*Plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons that engage and inspire students.
*Assess, monitor, and support student progress in line with school policies.
*Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all learners.
*Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
*Contribute to the ongoing development of the Maths curriculum.
*Support students in achieving excellent outcomes and reaching their full potential.
*Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and wider school staff.
The Ideal CandidateWe are looking for a teacher who:
*Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
*Has experience teaching Maths at secondary level.
*Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and a passion for Mathematics.
*Can motivate and inspire students of varying abilities.
*Has excellent classroom management and communication skills.
*Is committed to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning.
*ECTs and experienced teachers are both encouraged to apply.
