Location: Chalgrove, Oxfordshire, OX44
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 PER ANNUM

Key duties and responsibilities:
- Oversee goods-in, picking, packing, and dispatch processes to meet carrier and customer deadlines.
- Assign daily tasks, manage staff rotas, and provide on-the-job training for new or cross-trained operatives.
- Conduct cycle counts, audit inventory accuracy, and reconcile discrepancies.
- Enforce UK Health and Safety Executive (HSE) standards, ensure daily Material Handling Equipment (MHE) checks occur, and maintain site tidiness.
- Liaise with customer service and transport providers to resolve delivery queries or stock issues.
- Liaise with transport companies and load and unload vehicles when necessary.
Skills and experience:
- Proven track record in a supervisory role within an SME environment.
- Valid UK counterbalance forklift truck (FLT) certificate.
- Proficient with stock software/spreadsheets and confident in a hands-on, fast-paced setting.
- Familiarity with UK workplace safety regulations and manual handling best practices.
- Ability to stand and walk on concrete floors for extended periods within the shift.
- Capability to manually lift, move, and carry packages weighing up to 25kg safely and unassisted.
- Continuous bending, stretching, reaching, and kneeling to check pallets, pick stock, or wrap pallets.
- Frequent gripping, pulling, and pushing when using manual handling equipment like hand pallet trucks.
