Are you passionate about supporting young people and helping them overcome barriers to learning and behaviour?
Academics are working with a supportive secondary school in Crewe, Cheshire East, who are looking for a Teaching Assistant to support their Reflection Room. This is a full-time role starting ASAP until Christmas initially.
About the Role:
*Supporting KS3 and KS4 students withbehavioural, emotional and pastoral needs
*Providing a calm and structured environment for students to reflect and reset
*Building positive relationships while maintaining clear boundaries and expectations
*Supporting students to regulate their emotions and make positive choices
*Using effective behaviour management and de-escalation strategies
Applicant Requirements:
*Experience working with young people, ideally in a school, SEN, pastoral or behavioural setting
*Calm, patient, resilient and confident managing challenging behaviour
*Strong communication and relationship-building skills
*A genuine passion for supporting young people
*Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
