Are you looking for a hands-on role where you can help keep production running smoothly and safely? At our Batley site, we’re looking for a Process Operative who can follow clear instructions, stay focused on quality, and keep our equipment and processes on track. If you’re reliable, detail driven, and ready to work in a fast paced environment where hygiene and safety come first, this could be the ideal role for you.
Working alongside experienced colleagues in a supportive and collaborative environment, you’ll have the opportunity to develop a broad range of manufacturing skills while gaining valuable exposure to different areas of the production process.
Working a regular night shift pattern, Monday - Thursday 10pm - 7am 36 hours per week. With ongoing investment in our people, facilities, and future growth plans, this is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career within food manufacturing.


Responsibilities
*Operate and adjust key production equipment including ovens, rotary moulders, cream mixers, and chocolate enrobers to maintain consistent quality and smooth workflow. • Check and set recipes, programs, and safety guards before start-up, ensuring all equipment is safe, ready, and compliant.


*Monitor production lines by checking conveyors, refilling hoppers, maintaining chocolate flow, and reporting any issues early.


*Carry out regular quality checks, including colour and product standards, while keeping your workspace clean, safe, and well organised.


Criteria
• Strong communication and numeracy skills – able to understand instructions, follow safety procedures, and complete simple calculations to support smooth operations.
• High attention to detail – skilled at monitoring processes, spotting inconsistencies, and accurately recording checks and documentation.
• Hygiene and safety focused with a practical approach to machinery – committed to maintaining a clean, safe workplace, with basic machine operation awareness (full training provided)..
