A leading Law firm located in Bedfordshire is looking to appoint an Immigration Solicitor to join its growing immigration practice.
This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with solid immigration experience who is looking for autonomy, responsibility and the opportunity to develop their career within a close-knit regional firm.
The Role
You will manage your own varied immigration caseload, working closely with a senior member of the team and taking responsibility for matters from instruction through to completion.
Your role will cover a broad range of business and private immigration matters, which may include:
*Business, work, student, family and visitor visas
*Sponsor Licence applications
*Advice to employers regarding migrant employees
*Settlement and Indefinite Leave to Remain
*Extension applications
*British Citizenship
*Human Rights and Asylum matters
*Deportation and removal matters
*Subject Access Requests
*EEA applications
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
*2+ PQE with strong experience in Immigration Law
*Experience managing their own caseload with limited supervision
*Good technical knowledge across business and/or private immigration
*Excellent client care and communication skills
*Strong drafting and written communication ability
*The ability to manage deadlines and prioritise effectively
*A proactive and self-sufficient approach
*An interest in contributing to the continued growth of an immigration practice
*A genuine desire to build a long-term career within a regional law firm
The Opportunity
This Immigration Solicitor role is based inBedford, with hybrid working available for the right candidate.
You will join a small and supportive team, reporting directly to the partner responsible for the immigration practice. As the successful candidate, you will have the opportunity to take ownership of your caseload while playing a role in the continued development and expansion of the department.
The firm offers a supportive, partner-led environment with a good degree of autonomy and a practical approach to client service.
Salary: £42,000–£52,000+ depending on experience
Location: Bedford
Working pattern: Predominantly office-based, with hybrid working as an option
