Full job descriptionAre you a Developer with a passion for AI-first software engineering, AWS experience developing and enhancing cloud-native SaaS platforms, and a background in Python and React?
If so then there’s an opportunity for you to join a remote team contributing across the full software development lifecycle, including solution design, coding, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement while working within an AI-first engineering environment.
Role:Software Developer (AWS, Python, TypeScript)
Location: UK-based remote working
Salary: £55k-£65k
Key Responsibilities:
*Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and maintainable software solutions.
*Contribute to technical design, cloud-native architecture, APIs, integrations, and platform services.
*Apply AI-powered development tools throughout design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation.
*Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies, including sprint planning and retrospectives.
*Support CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, defect resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives.
*Promote engineering best practices, technical documentation, and knowledge sharing.
Required Skills & Experience:
*5+ years’ commercial software development experience.
*Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Codex, ChatGPT) to improve productivity and software quality.
*Proficiency with Python, SQL, RESTful APIs, and relational databases.
*Commercial experience working with TypeScript/React
*Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, Agile development, and software development lifecycles.
*Interest in cloud-native technologies, scalable architectures, and modern software engineering practices.
