Job Description:
Full job descriptionAn established company are currently looking for a Air Conditioning Engineer. The Air Conditioning Engineer role involves manage the delivery of projects within an agreed timescale.
*£50,000
*Static Site based in Tooting London
Air Conditioning Engineer duties:
*Carry out general Planned Preventative Maintenance tasks as detailed on the Client’s schedule.
*To source, provide details and organise/accept delivery of parts required to carry out works.
*Carry out Reactive Works as instructed by the Client or Line Manager and Contract Support.
*To complete engineer’s report sheets at the end of each job, and send to Contract Support and client.
*Carry out Risk Assessments for all tasks.
*Establish and maintain a good working relationship with the Client.
*Ensure compliance to the Clients Permit to Work System.
*Ensure the provision of a Safe and Healthy working environment.
*Notify the Client’s Representative if a Subcontractor is attending site and escort them to the area of work.
*Update the client daily on tasks, whether completed or in progress.
*Weekly visual check of absorption chiller.
*
Air Conditioning skills/competencies:
*City and Guilds Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Qualification.
*Have a good background in mechanical building systems both installation and maintenance.
*Have a good basic education, with good written and spoken English and basic mathematical skills.
*Ability to communicate with people at all levels.
*Be a team player with a flexible and adaptable approach.
*Have a sound understanding of current company and legislative Health and Safety, Environmental Impacts and Risk Assessment Procedures.
