Full job descriptionThomas Search are supporting an award winning construction & facilities management provider with a 35 year PFI contract to maintain various commercial/industrial MOD assets in Tidworth, Wiltshire.

We’re seeking an individual with strong commercial experience to support the delivery of a wide range of capital projects.

Key Responsibilities:
*You will be involved in pricing of scope works to support change, lifecycle planning and the Annual Maintenance Plan.
*You will also, review contractor’s quotes, tender returns and work estimates to substantiate or challenge value for money.
*Prepares ROM costings based on pricing methodologies and historic contractor prices for defined Scopes of Work.
*Delivers strong commercial approach to accurately estimate and quantify Scopes of work by reviewing the work ensuring all elements accounted for.
*Undertakes quantitative analysis to compare ROMs against market.
*Support the updating of rates in the asset planning software based on market returns.
*Supporting estimates in their production of the Annual Maintenance plan
Experience & Skills Required:
*Educated to a minimum HNC/HND level or equivalent in a relevant discipline preferably with a professional membership eg, CIBSE or CIOB.
*Understand pricing in construction and where to find and interpret available data
*Current knowledge of building regulations
*Site Managers or a Junior Building Surveyors may also be considered
