We are looking for a reliable and organised Goods In/Warehouse Operative to join our clients team. You will be responsible for receiving deliveries, checking incoming goods, updating stock records, and ensuring materials are stored correctly and safely. This is a great opportunity for someone with warehouse or stores experience who enjoys working in a busy environment and has a good eye for detail.
Salary | Competitive
Hours | 8:00am to 4:00pm | Monday to Friday | Total hours 37.50 per week.
Duties Include:
*Receive and book in deliveries from suppliers.
*Check goods against delivery notes and purchase orders.
*Unload, sort and organise stock within the warehouse.
*Update stock information on the company system.
*Carry out basic quality checks on incoming goods.
*Move stock between warehouse locations and ensure accurate stock records.
*Help manage non-conforming goods and arrange returns when required.
*Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
*Support with stock control and continuous improvement activities.
What We’re Looking For:
*Previous warehouse, goods-in or stores experience - essential.
*Good attention to detail and accuracy - essential.
*Basic IT skills and confidence using stock management systems - essential.
