Our client a global telecommunications organisation are looking for an experienced Supply & Purchasing Manager to join the team on an initial 6-month contract.
This role will play a key part in managing supply planning, purchasing activities and supplier engagement, ensuring products and services are delivered efficiently while balancing customer demand, inventory levels and operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
*Manage supply planning and purchasing activities across the supply chain
*Support demand forecasting and inventory optimisation
*Work closely with suppliers to ensure continuity of supply
*Monitor supply chain performance and identify improvement opportunities
*Drive purchasing governance and best practice processes
*Mitigate supply risks and resolve sourcing challenges
*Collaborate with internal stakeholders across operations, commercial and procurement teams
*Produce reporting and insights to support decision-making
*Experience Required
*Strong background in supply chain, purchasing or procurement management
*Experience within complex operational environments
*Knowledge of supply planning, forecasting and inventory management
*Proven supplier management and stakeholder engagement skills
*Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
*Experience driving process improvements and operational efficiencies
Desirable
*Telecommunications experience
*Experience working within large, complex organisations
*Exposure to supply chain transformation programmes
