Are you an experienced, ARLA-qualified Property Manager looking to join an independent estate agency whose business is rapidly growing?
We’re recruiting for a well-experienced Property Manager to join a strong and supportive team in Romford. This is an excellent opportunity for an ARLA-qualified property professional looking to develop their career within an ambitious and growing business.
You’ll have the opportunity to take ownership of a portfolio, work closely with landlords and tenants, and benefit from ongoing mentoring and clear career progression.
The Role
As a Property Manager, you will:
*Manage day-to-day maintenance and repair requests
*Order, coordinate and monitor repair works
*Liaise with contractors and manage contractor payments
*Ensure all property certification is fully up to date, including gas, electrical and EPC requirements
*Schedule, order and process mid-term inspections
*Keep the CRM system accurate and up to date
*Monitor rent payments, process rent and proactively chase arrears
*Provide ongoing support to landlords and tenants
*Build and maintain strong landlord, tenant and contractor relationships
*Handle calls and enquiries as part of the wider team
*Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver a high level of service
*Ensure compliance with relevant property legislation and regulations
Property Manager requirements:
*ARLA qualified
*Proven estate agency experience
*Previous property management experience
*Strong knowledge of the Renters’ Reform Act and other key property legislation
*Excellent communication and organisational skills
*Positive, proactive and can-do attitude
*Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
*Ability to work effectively as part of a team
*Professional and solutions-focused approach

Working Hours
*Monday-Friday: 8.30am-6.00pm
*Alternative Saturdays
*Day off in lieu following Saturday working
