Hours: Mon-Thurs 7:30am-17:00 Fri 7:30-16:00 30 mins lunch
Location: Swindon- Need to drive due to location

Reed is exclusively supporting a well established, family owned company who supply high quality plants, trees and shrubs to prestigious clients across the UK, including large manor estates and agricultural businesses. Due to continued growth, they are looking for a hardworking and reliable Nursery Assistant to join their friendly team.
The Role
This is a hands on, outdoor position involving a variety of nursery and maintenance duties. You will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day running of the nursery, helping to prepare and care for plants while assisting with customer orders and deliveries.
Key Responsibilities
*Potting plants and preparing them for sale
*Planting and setting up flower beds
*Sorting and organising plants throughout the nursery
*Picking and preparing customer orders
*Loading and unloading deliveries
*General nursery maintenance and housekeeping
*Supporting the wider team with a variety of outdoor tasks
*Ensuring work areas are kept tidy and safe
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
*Previous experience within a plant nursery, horticultural or agricultural environment (preferred)
*Enjoys working outdoors and isn’t afraid of physical work.
*A positive attitude and willingness to get stuck in
*Good reliability and punctuality
*The ability to carry out manual handling duties
*A strong work ethic and team-focused approach
*The ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
*No formal qualifications or training are required, but nursery experience would be highly advantageous.
Additional Information
*Due to the location, candidates must have their own transport and be able to drive to site.
*Please wear sturdy footwear and clothing suitable for outdoor manual work.
