Description
*Act as the senior finance partner to Operations and Technical leadership teams.
*Drive financial performance across manufacturing and operational functions.
*Support major business transformation and operational change initiatives.
*Lead budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning activities.
*Deliver insightful analysis on business performance, risks and opportunities.
*Partner with operational leaders to improve efficiency, productivity and profitability.
*Provide financial leadership on supplier strategy, sourcing decisions and operational risk management.
*Own and enhance manufacturing cost reporting, standard costing and variance analysis processes.
*Develop investment appraisals and business cases supporting strategic projects and capital expenditure.
*Drive accountability through meaningful KPI reporting and performance management.
*Maintain a visible presence within manufacturing operations and engage closely with site leadership.
*Strengthen financial controls, governance and decision-support capabilities across the business.
Profile
A successful Head of Finance - Business Partnering should have:
*Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
*Significant experience in a senior finance leadership role within manufacturing, engineering, industrial or technology-led environments.
*Strong operational finance and business partnering credentials.
*Deep understanding of manufacturing finance, standard costing and variance analysis.
*Experience supporting manufacturing transformation, operational change or supply chain initiatives.
*Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and executive leadership teams.
*Strong commercial acumen with experience supporting strategic business decisions.
*Experience partnering operational, engineering or technical functions.
*Excellent analytical, financial modelling and planning capabilities.
*Comfortable operating both strategically and hands-on within a manufacturing environment.
