Full job descriptionIn a year where the attainment gap is wider than ever, don’t just teach-level the playing field. We are looking for tutors in Mansfield who believe that a student’s potential shouldn’t be capped by their circumstances.
*The Role: You’ll deliver 1:1 or small group tuition in English, Maths, or Science, focusing on GCSE or Functional Skills pathways.
*The Students: You will support young people who are currently outside the traditional classroom, often referred by the local authority because they need a different approach to thrive.
*Outside the Classroom: Forget the whiteboards and rows of desks. You’ll work in student homes or local community spaces like libraries, creating a relaxed environment where learning actually "clicks".
*The Pay:£22 - £30 per hour (dependant on experience).
*Perfect for Parents: Since most sessions take place during the school day, this role is a dream for working parents. You can handle the morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up with ease, fitting your sessions into that "golden window" of school hours.
