This is a great opportunity for a QS looking to develop their career in a varied, forward-thinking environment. We’re looking for someone full-time with a strong grounding in the living sector, cost planning and JCT contract administration. An immediate start is available.
The Role
As Quantity Surveyor, you’ll take an active commercial role across a range of projects, working towards a lead position and liaising closely with client and contractor teams to ensure successful delivery. You’ll become a key point of contact within the project team, helping guide schemes from feasibility and cost planning through tendering, procurement, construction and practical completion.
Key Responsibilities
*Managing projects and delivering high-quality commercial services

*Cost planning, cost options and cost exercises
*Supporting carbon impact assessments (training provided)
*Managing interim payments, valuations and change
*Preparing and maintaining cost reports and cash flow forecasts
*Monthly commercial reporting
About You
*MRICS qualified, or working towards APC with completion targeted within 12 months
*Experience in a cost consultancy environment (contractor-side QSs looking to move into consultancy also considered)
*Confident with measurement software and advanced Excel
*Strong experience administering JCT contracts
*Background in residential new-build and/or Industrial & Logistics projects
*Strong commercial and cost-planning experience
*Excellent attention to detail and technical proficiency
*A creative, practical approach to problem-solving
*Able to manage multiple priorities, with strong communication and a collaborative, team-focused approach
Why Join?
Join a talented, diverse project delivery team working on high-profile projects across some of the UK’s most active development sectors. You’ll have real ownership of projects, close client and contractor exposure, and the chance to develop across the full project lifecycle in a supportive, ambitious environment.
