Job Description:
Full job descriptionWe are currently looking for an experienced Payroller to join a busy finance team on a temporary basis.
This is a great opportunity for someone who has strong payroll experience, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and can hit the ground running. You will be responsible for ensuring payroll is processed accurately and on time, while supporting employees with any payroll-related queries.
Key Responsibilites:
*Processing weekly/monthly payroll accurately and on time.
*Managing starters, leavers and employee amendments.
*Processing PAYE, National Insurance and pension deductions.
*Handling payroll queries and resolving discrepancies.
*Completing payroll reconciliations and reports.
*Maintaining accurate and confidential employee records.
*Working closely with HR and the wider finance team.
*Ensuring payroll processes comply with relevant legislation.
About You:
*Previous payroll experience is essential.
*Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
*Good knowledge of PAYE, National Insurance and pensions.
*Confident using Excel and payroll systems.
*Able to work to tight deadlines in a busy environment.
*Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
*Available to start at short notice.
Benefits:
*Hourly rate is up to £14p/h plus holiday pay
*Can be flexible with hours
*School working hours can be offered
*Partime or Fulltime
