Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a well-established and busy independent garage in Bognor Regis.
The garage is looking for an experienced Service Advisor to join their friendly and professional team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a customer-focused environment and wants to become an important part of a successful independent business.
Whether you are currently working within an independent garage or have previous main dealership experience, we are keen to hear from strong Service Advisors who are passionate about delivering excellent customer service.
Key responsibilities
*Provide a warm and professional welcome to customers visiting the garage.
*Book vehicles in for servicing, maintenance and repairs.
*Keep customers informed throughout the repair process, providing regular updates and estimated completion times.
*Liaise closely with Technicians and the workshop to ensure a smooth customer journey.
*Prepare estimates and invoices and explain required work clearly to customers.
*Identify additional work and communicate recommendations professionally.
*Deliver exceptional customer service and build strong relationships with customers.
*Complete service administration accurately and efficiently.
*Help ensure the workshop runs efficiently and customers receive their vehicles back on time.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will have:
*Previous experience as a Service Advisor, ideally within an independent garage or main dealership.
*Strong automotive knowledge and an understanding of vehicle servicing and repairs.
*Excellent customer service and communication skills.
*A professional, confident and well-presented manner.
*Strong organisational skills with the ability to work in a busy environment.
*A positive attitude and excellent team-working skills.
*Good administrative and computer skills.
*A full UK driving licence.

*Basic salary of up to £30,000
