Our client is at the fore front of the subcontract precision engineering sector. Due to growth, they now require a Quality Inspector.
The Role:
*Use inspection equipment such as verniers, micrometers, PI tapes.
*Inspection of goods in, goods out, subcontract work and all purchased parts.
*In process and finished goods inspection.
*Process auditing.
*Ensuring the integrity, accuracy, maintenance and control of quality-related documentation and records throughout the business.
*The role combines system inspection and verification activities with broader responsibilities for document control, records management, quality administration and process compliance.
*Calibration of measuring equipment.
*Signing first and last inspection reports.
*Reporting of non-conforming parts.
*Working 4-day week, 37 hours Monday-Thursday.
*Will include nights one in 4 weeks £22.68 per hour for this.
The Person:
*Previous inspection experience essential.
*Use of measuring equipment such as verniers, micrometers, thickness and echo meters.
*Proven ability to work accurately and with attention to detail.
*Self-motivated.
*Good communication skills.
*Good housekeeping.
