Job Description:
Full job descriptionFor the right adviser, this represents one of the more straightforward propositions currently on the market in the South West the chance to inherit between £100,000 and £200,000 of recurring fee income from a retiring colleague and build from there.
Based in Sidmouth on the Devon coast, this is an office that sits within a substantial and well-regarded national wealth management group but operates with the feel of an established local practice. The client base has been carefully built over many years, and the transition is being handled with the care and planning that long-standing client relationships deserve.
The role will suit an experienced adviser who is confident taking ownership of an existing book, has the temperament to maintain and deepen those relationships, and the ambition to grow beyond them. For the right person there is scope for a broader role within the office over time.
Paraplanning and administration support is provided through the group’s national infrastructure, leaving advisers free to concentrate on clients. Whole of market product access, Chartered status at group level and a strong centralised proposition all add up to a platform that is straightforward to take to market.
The validation structure offers a measured and accessible entry point, phasing up gradually over the first two years before settling at the standard rate. A profit share scheme sits on top of the base salary, with the potential to earn up to three times annual salary over a five-year cycle, alongside a strong wider benefits package.
Chartered Financial Planner status will attract a salary of up to £80,000.
Non-chartered candidates with strong relevant experience will be considered at £65,000 to £70,000.
Salary: up to £80,000 depending on qualifications and experience, plus profit share and benefits
