This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious educator to join a supportive department and inspire students to develop a strong understanding of economic principles and their relevance in the modern world.The successful candidate will be passionate about their subject, committed to achieving excellent outcomes, and able to deliver engaging lessons that challenge and motivate students at Key Stage 5.Responsibilities
*Plan and deliver high-quality Economics lessons.
*Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where students can thrive.
*Assess, monitor and support student progress.
*Contribute to curriculum development within the department.
*Support students in achieving their academic potential.
*Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and wider stakeholders.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
*Experience teaching Economics at secondary level, ideally including A-Level.
*Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Economics.
*Excellent classroom management skills.
*A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
*Strong communication and organisational skills.
