Job Description:
Full job descriptionFor an experienced adviser looking for genuine substance in their next role, this is worth considering carefully. The Taunton office of a well-regarded national wealth management group is looking for someone to step into an established local practice, take on £100,000 of recurring fee income from day one and build on the prospect of a further substantial client bank to follow as the current principal moves towards retirement.
The outgoing principal has spent many years building one of the strongest performing books in the South West. The clients he has looked after are loyal, well-served and deserve continuity of the same quality of care. Finding the right person to take those relationships forward is what matters most in this appointment.
It is also a role with genuine longer term potential. For an adviser with the right combination of experience and ambition, there is scope to take on a broader remit within the office over time. The firm takes that kind of progression seriously and has a track record of investing in people who perform.
Full paraplanning and administration support is available locally, keeping client-facing time where it belongs. Whole of market product access, Chartered status at group level and a strong centralised proposition provide a credible and well-supported platform from which to advise. Structured training and career development programmes are in place for those who want them.
The validation structure offers a measured and accessible entry point, phasing up gradually over the first two years before settling at the standard rate. A profit share scheme sits alongside the base salary, with the potential to earn up to three times annual salary over a five-year cycle, together with a comprehensive benefits package.
Chartered Financial Planner status will attract a salary of up to £80,000. Non-chartered candidates with strong relevant experience will be considered at £65,000 to £70,000.
Salary: up to £80,000 depending on qualifications and experience, plus profit share and benefits
