Junior Sales Manager / Team Leader – Mortgage & Protection


Location: Buckinghamshire, Berkshire & Surrey
Salary: Up to £50,000 basic + Commission & Bonuses OTE: £70,000+


We’re looking for an ambitious Junior Sales Manager / Team Leader to lead and develop a small team of Mortgage & Protection Advisers across the Buckinghamshire, Berkshire and Surrey region.


This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced adviser who is ready to take the next step into management. You’ll split your time between writing your own mortgage and protection cases and supporting, coaching and developing your team to help them reach their full potential.


Key Responsibilities:


*Lead, motivate and manage a small team of Mortgage & Protection Advisers
*Continue to write mortgage and protection business alongside your management duties
*Provide ongoing training, coaching and development to team members
*Monitor individual and team performance against targets, providing feedback and support
*Conduct regular one-to-ones, case reviews and quality checks to ensure compliance standards are met
*Support the recruitment, onboarding and induction of new advisers as the team grows
*Act as a point of escalation for complex cases and adviser queries
*Work closely with senior management to help shape team strategy and drive business growth
*Ensure the team adheres to regulatory and compliance requirements at all times


Experience required:


*CeMAP qualified (or equivalent recognised mortgage qualification) – essential
*Proven track record writing mortgage and protection business
*Some prior experience in a supervisory, mentoring or team leader capacity is desirable, but strong advisers ready to step up will also be considered
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine passion for developing others
